Main Responsibilities:

• Setting of premisses and targets for Business Development and Technical Service  for Elastomer Polyurethane systems of the region ex Japan.
• Planning, monitoring and controlling of BD Elastomer (APAC ex Japan) tasks for Systems and the associated resources and adaption.
• Detailed knowledge of PUR chemistry especially for the broad variety of system business  in order to support the development teams in product and application development as well as for realization of targets the business units.
• Development of new applications in Elastomer Systems.
• Personal development in BD Elastomer (APAC ex Japan) in the context of the regional personal development.
• Personal development of employees under special consideration of the requirment the necessary expertixe on a long-term view. Transfer of expertise knowledge to employees.
• Represent BD Elastomer (APAC ex Japan) interests in other organiztion units.
• Support business through personnel relationship to customers.
• Define and adapt costs and personal resourcen toghether with MUs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• University graduate major in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, Master or PhD preferred.
• More than 5 years experience in Polymer industry (preferably in Polyurethane Elastomer technology e.g in Spray, Casting, Composite).
• Management and team-leader experience.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills within internal organization and with customers.
• Good spoken & written English.
• Able to work independently.
• Willing to travel within the APAC region.
