As an SDET lead, you'll need to lead by example and be the strongest technical contributor in the team. Responsibilities include design and implement robust test tools and automation, hiring and managing fulltime SDET and STE individual contributors, define test strategy, test planning, identify required test tools and harnesses, oversee test execution and test tools development, and guide, mentor and grow people in your team. Strong cross group collaboration and communication skills are essential. Internally you will interact closely with the development team and program managers. Externally you will work closely with other development, localization, test and build teams from different product groups that utilizes our product, likely in different time zones. Interactions includes improve the daily communication process, status, and address issues such as daily build drop, bug tracking and triaging.

Qualifications:

• At least 3+ years working experience with C++/C#. 
• At least 2 years experience of leading a test team, or equivalent. 
• Strong testing, problem solving, leadership and decision making skills. 
• Good working knowledge of test methodologies, techniques and harnesses 
• Experience of manage testing during the product cycle for at least one commercial product. 
• "Lead by example" attitude and passion about shipping high quality products; 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. 
• A BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline is required.

Pluses:

• Familiar with design patterns, test-driven and SCRUM development. 
• Knowledge of browser technology, MSHMTL is a plus, but not required.
• Previous experience with WIN CE or Windows Mobile is not required.
