Responsibilities: 

We are looking for motivated, technically strong individuals to work as a critical member of a test team responsible for Search, Data Mining and Internet service related deliverables. You will be working on cutting edge technologies that are jointly developed by It Research Asia, MSN Shopping team in Redmond and ATC that will redefine the customer experience of the next-generation MSN Shopping service. You will work with Development and Program Management team to create and execute through test plans, develop test methods, identify and/or develop automated testing tools/harness, write detailed and comprehensive test case code for a significant portion of the product. You will need to monitor product bugs, triage and assign bugs, assist development team in identifying necessary bug fixes, verify the fixed product and generate regular test status reports. Identifying and isolating difficult bugs may require strong analytical, technical knowledge, creative investigation and persistence.

Qualifications: 

• A demonstrated knowledge of C/C++/C#, Windows 2000/2003 server platform, and an in-depth understanding of test methodologies. 
• Previous experience in search, data mining and web related technologies is a big plus.
• Strong coding and debug skills are necessary to understand a project quickly. 
• Experience with client/server/Internet related software testing preferred 
• Understanding software security issues coupled with experience in security testing is a plus. 
• Strong communication skills in English for interacting with other product team members are essential. 
• A BA/BS degree or above in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.
