Lead Software Development Engineer, RxD Customer(2495-3) |
Company Background: Our client is a world-class software company provides a variety of software products and services.
Responsibilities include:
Participate in strategic technical architecture, design and development of complex web and smart-client applications leveraging current and emerging technologies.
Provide technical leadership and coordinate development deliverables across onshore, offshore and vendors.
Prepare design documentation and participate in design, code reviews, POI reviews.
Analyze and troubleshoot existing processes and optimize code in order to improve performance whenever required.
Develop and enforce coding practices designed to promote code reusability; assist in defining and updating the team standards to improve the development process and quality of deliverables.
Ensure systems are designed and developed in compliance with corporate security and privacy policies.
Work closely with onshore PM, Dev Lead, Test Managers and Product Support, and drive offshore development to completion.
Staff and lead offshore development team. Acquire, sustain and grow top talented software engineers.
Qualifications include:
- B.A. / B.S. in information systems and/or software engineering / computer science or related field and 8 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Minimum 5 years experience architecting, designing and developing distributed systems including demonstrated experience with .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, Windows Forms, Web Services, XML, SQL Server.
- Experience with any of these software technologies is a big plus: VSTF, WCF, WPF, BizTalk, and MS Dynamics.
- Applied experience in application and systems integration, including integration of client-server and/or web solutions to legacy systems
- Comprehensive understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) process development and product deployment across an enterprise.
- Ability to anticipate and effectively deal with problems and roadblocks
- Able to lead a team of high caliber development engineers.
- Proven record of leading development teams through a complete delivery cycle for complex business solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Mastery of the English Language.
- Experience working with companies in the United States.
