Main Responsibilities:

• To ensure all machine related to polyurethane footwear development are in good working conditions
• Technology contribution to Global Footwear Competency Center (GFCC) at R&D Center Shanghai as PUR Footwear core competence and support global BaySystems Technical Development footwear work.
• To develop solutions for footwear industry based on technology development (technology push) and industry needs (market demand) in alignment with global MU footwear strategy. Support commercialization of innovated technology developed by GFCC at BaySystems globally.
• To implement footwear technology transfer process between R&D Center and the BaySystems network in Asia/Pacific and globally in alignment with the global MU strategy.
• To propose and execute footwear technology development projects, build on existing EMEA/America technology, develop advanced material and provide technical support to BaySystems footwear R&D globally.
• To coach and transfer of expertise knowledge to junior employees.
• To monitor footwear patent landscape globally, protect footwear innovations by patents.
• Forward marketing, develop partnership and drive for material approval at global footwear OEMs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• BS degree, majored in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or all related disciplines.
• At least 3 years working experience in the field of polyurethane foam industry, polyurethane machinery industry, polyurethane footwear experience will be a big plus.
• Good English communication skills in reading and writing.
• Good interpersonal skill within internal organization and with customers.
• Able to work independently and with minimum supervision.
