Our client is a leading MNC chipmaker in the computing and communications industries.
Description: In this position, you will be assisting in providing technical support for one or many product(s) and/or product family. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Responding to customer and/or client requests or event as they occur
- Developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment
- Participating in new product development and representing the customers technical needs
- Developing and presenting technical product training materials
- Owning creation and maintenance of data sheets and application notes
- Acting as technical experts, consultants, analysts, and program managers
- Creating competitive analysis from a technical perspective
- Working with the field team to help resolve customers technical questions, participates in customers visits, and presentations
Qualifications: You must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent with more than four years of industry related experience. Additional qualifications include:
- Demonstrate a solid working knowledge of embedded system architecture
- Strong verbal communication and/or presentation skill
- Excellent verbal and written skills (English and Korea)
- Strong customer enabling and support experience
- Solid understanding of IA-32 or it XScale(r) (or ARM*) architecture
- Familiarity with the embedded operating systems internals (Microsoft* WinCE* or embedded Linux*)
- Solid understanding of video, audio and graphics
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to own and drive resolution of technical issues
- A high level of flexibility and the ability to participate in multiple areas
- Willingness to travel to customers locations in APAC and other it sites
- Systems knowledge in STB* and DTV platforms would be an added advantage
