The Estimator will work under the direction of the F68 Lead Estimator to implement and manage project estimate plans and deliverables for F68 and the Dalian site.  Involvement will vary depending on project size, scope and complexity, and will range from supervisory review and approval of third party estimates to actual hands-on preparation of estimates for all disciplines.  The Estimator will support the development of various internal capital funding requests.  Will review and approve, or develop as necessary, 'should costs' or 'shadow estimates' to validate bid and/or change order pricing.  The Estimator will participate in project contracting and compensation strategy development activities, and is expected to formulate the basis for (and participate in) contract negotiations to ensure best cost is received; they will also participate in claims resolution.  The Estimator will validate A/E and/or CM approaches to detailed estimate preparation, and will review and approve as necessary estimates prepared by such firms.
