Company Background: Our client is a famous investment bank.
Investment Management are looking for a marketing person in Beijing to help out with brochure collation, client events (everything from running conferences for 50+ people to setting up client meetings), printing out information from the London office for China clients etc.
The background is that they do not have anyone in BJ to help them with basic marketing administrative work.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Able to work autonomously and with minimal direction.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English.
- Have strong interpersonal skills and able to interact with the clients
- Familiar with Chinese culture and custom.
- Have a flexible working style - ie prepared to do the mundane part of the job as well as the higher level (such as organizing conferences).
The role will appeal to a personal assistant who is looking for greater flexibility in his or her role and is being pitched at Executive Assistant level.
