Painting Engineering Engineer(2496) |
Company Background: Our client is a JV plant to produce engines in Beijing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development and implementation of painting system equipment improvements required to achieve world class levels of safety, productivity, quality, and cost.
- Lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams to define future process new product strategies, capacity requirements, and the given new product strategies, capacity requirements and the application of new technology.
- Evaluate and submit recommendations on plant Capital and Expense equipment acquisition proposals. Lead specification, purchase and installation of equipment.
- Participate in cross-functional groups including Quality, Safety, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance and Materials. Implement cost effective, safe, and capable processes.
- Analyze production operations to determine opportunities for improvements in cost, quality, and delivery. Recommend alternatives and implement.
- Lead or participate in workgroup problem solving and continuous improvement activities, including definition of the problem, identification of improvement opportunities, selection of alternatives, implementation and measurement.
- Provide technical leadership for Manufacturing Engineering activities.
Job Requirement:
- Engineering degree in either: Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related education background.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing a production automatic Wash and Painting process preferably in the automotive industry.
- Demonstrated Knowledge/Experience with:
- Wash and Paint Chemistry.
- Automation (ie robots) used in the Painting process.
- Overhead conveyor systems.
- Assembly process development (masking, post-paint assembly).
