Channel Account Manager(2667-1)

Company Background:
Our client is a leading MNC chipmaker in the computing and communications industries.

 Description: 
 This is a commissioned sales position. In this position, you will be responsible for driving IA incremental demand creation effort with xOEM and xOEM Distributors and/or Resellers, maintain a good business relationship with xOEM distributor and/or reseller and high-end bVARs/Integrators to align their product and marketing strategy with it. You will be working closely with RSO program managers and it xOEM account team, linked to direct account managers to drive headquarters programs with local affiliates. You are part of a regional Sell Out team, PRC Geo, SMG. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Achieving assigned selling quota. 
  • Reporting to the District Sales Manager. 
  • Maintaining excellent external relationships with your customers. 
  • Maintaining excellent internal relationships and effective communication with others on your regional team as well as with others in the central sales and marketing teams. This position is an individual contributor role.

Job duties and tasks performed:

  • xOEM CAM is responsible for developing and maintaining the relationship with xOEM regional office, xOEM regional distributor/reseller/bVAR/integrator in their territory, in some cases, direct end user engagement is necessary 
  • As a sales employee, the xOEM CAM is compensated on commission. The commission plan is based upon achieving or exceeding quantitative business objectives and assigned quotas for it product assembled in xOEM system. Objectives may include revenue, MSS, Account Management Behavior of the account they call on as well as other performance objectives defined by management. 
  • xOEM CAM is responsible for develop overall xOEM business plan and executed in assigned territory. 
  • xOEM CAM is responsible for executing xOEM retail programs as well as providing input to the sales program office.
  • xOEM CAM is responsible for providing input to other it team members regarding requirements for business and/or marketing programs which will help drive it product demand and build the it brand preferences within xOEM and their distributor/reseller/bVAR/integrator. 
  • xOEM CAM will work with CFAE to ensure that technical and commercial issues are identified, communicated to the appropriate parties and promptly addressed. 
  • xOEM CAM will track market trends which may impact business environment and feedback itligence, work with stakeholders with proved methodology to define actions to address the trends. 
  • xOEM CAM is responsible for understanding it business practices including pricing, forecasting, vendor practices, terms and conditions, distribution, sales practices and code of ethics. 
  • xOEM CAM is responsible for leading and managing sales representative from 3rd party to increase the coverage in the territory.  
     

Qualifications: 

 You should possess an Advanced Master technical degree required and/or an M.B.A. is preferred. Additional qualifications include:

  • Chinese (Mandarin) and English fluency in speaking, reading and writing. 
  • Prior MNC experience would be an added advantage. 
  • Prior sales experience. 
  • Knowledge of PRC and local IT/computer/icafe industry. 
  • Regional domestic travel required up to 70% of time. 
  • Frequent requirement work on weekends and evenings. 
  • Tolerance for ambiguity and comfort working independently within a fast paced, changing environment. 
  • Strong self motivation, be able to work independent. 
  • Base in Nanjing, cover Jiangsu and Anhui Province.
