Sales Manager-Polycarbonates(2640)

Company Background:
Our client is a research-based, growth-oriented global enterprise with core competencies in the fields of health care, nutrition and innovative materials.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to take accountability, fulfill and achieve given sales targets of the two sub-segments of Consumer Products and Medical. 
  • The incumbent is expected to supervise and manage the respective CP&M China line team (incl. coaching, trainings, and other development measures)
  • Maximize profitable relationship with existing customers. 
  • Obligation to continuously acquire new customers, new applications, industries and find new market opportunities.
  • Provide all necessary industry specific information, using existing information flows and tools (incl. provide accurate sales forecast and take care of customers' payment.); enhance industry lobby work.
  • Implement pricing guideline provided by the Regional Business Segment and CR and conduct negotiation accordingly to deliver on this task. 
  • In case of international key accounts / OEM with China transplants business co-ordinate the international business activities adapted to the customer's decision structure. 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in technical or business-related discipline. 
  • Above 5 years of professional sales experience, preferably from specialty polymer or chemistry industry (incl. excellent selling, negation and deal making skills).
  • Sound knowledge in customers, competitive products, applications and processes, industry drivers and technology related to: medical, food contact, ophthalmic, safety, defense, protection, toys, furniture.
  • Creative and self-motivated and able to motivate a sales team. 
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels internally and externally.
  • Fluent in spoken / written English and Mandarin.
