Company Background: Our client is a leading MNC chipmaker in the computing and communications industries.
Responsibilities: It Dalian 300 mm wafer factory (F68) Labs are seeking applicants for Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) Specimen Prep Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficient, high quality production of TEM samples. To accomplish this manual polishing, ion polishing, Focused Ion Beam (FIB) micro-machining and other techniques will be employed. The candidate may be required to take a 3-6 months training/seed assignment at It existing wafer manufacturing facilities in US or Ireland to learn new equipment/processes.
Skills: Previous experience with TEM specimen preparation or similar is a highly desirable qualification. The ability to demonstrate in-depth understanding of analytical equipment (operation and theory) and semiconductor process flow operation is required. The knowledge of a variety of TEM specimen preparation methods is highly preferred. The candidate must be a good team player and be able to establish collaborative relationships with peers and internal customers.
Educational Requirements: Materials analysis experience (ideally a BS degree in a technical field with 2+ years experience in a materials characterization laboratory or an AA degree with 5+ years experience in a materials characterization laboratory) is a highly desirable qualification. |
