Company Background: Our client is a leading MNC chipmaker in the computing and communications industries.
Fab 68 Integration is looking for highly motivated individuals with strong technical background and capabilities to join a 300mm logic chipset factory in Dalian, China. In this position as Device Integration Engineer, your responsibilities are:
- Participating in technology start-up, transfer and ramp activities to meet yield, reliability, cost, and device performance goals.
- Maintaining and driving device performance matching matrix and deliverables
- Exercising good judgment, sometimes with insufficient data, to determine appropriate action and mitigate integrated risks.
- Analyzing electrical parametric and characterization data from process experiments.
- Characterizing device structures to validate layout design rules and circuit performance goals.
- Interfacing with process integration, Q&R, and Product Engineering to to improve cost and performance for the chipset technology.
Qualifications for Device Integration Engineer: Must possess a MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent semiconductor industry experiences. Additional qualifications include:
- Minimum 2 years of direct experiences in device and/or semiconductor physics and electrical characterization is required. Alternatively, recent college graduates with MS or PhD degrees in the relevant field might also apply.
- High level of technical contributions and a proven history of technical problem solving through the creation of solutions that demonstrated creativity and out-of-box thinking.
- Experience in sub-micron silicon device development is highly desired.
- Excellent data extraction and analysis skills, especially on device characterization methods and tools.
- Ability to multi-task and be effective in providing timely solutions.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with demonstrated leadership capability.
- Flexibility and maturity in facing uncertainties associated with changing priorities and responsibilities to support business needs are expected.
- Conversational English skills and good written skills in English.
