Company Background: Our client is a leading MNC chipmaker in the computing and communications industries.
Description: Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) in PRC Embedded Sales Group (ESG) to support It LAN Access Division products. In this position, you will be responsible for the technical support to customer designs to ensure successful platform launch and Time-To-Market, including providing product technical trainings to customers, design reviews, resolving technical issues, and on-site test/debug in customer lab. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Networking performance benchmark tests, analysis, and tuning.
- Developing platform solutions to maximize It platform value proposition.
- Developing technical marketing collateral such as application notes, solution whitepapers, and customer presentations.
- Assisting division R&D team for failure root cause analysis.
Qualifications: You should possess a Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with more than five years experience in designing communication related products and/or PC motherboard and/or peripheral add-on adapter. Additional qualifications include:
- Familiarity with standards as IEEE 802.3, specs from PCI-SIG, IETF, DMTF.
- Strong analytic and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated strong customer orientation and result orientation.
- Fluent and effective communication, presentation and documentation skills, both written and verbal in Mandarin and English.
- Self-motivated, multi-task effective, ability to work independently and also in teams.
- Ability to travel.
- Experiences on Ethernet products, It? platform architecture, network communications.
- Experiences on PC motherboard design and debug with lab equipments, proficient in Cadence EDA tools, good understand of high-speed, signal integrity, EMC and others.
- Familiarity with It IOAT, Virtualization technology would be an added advantage.
- Experience in customer technical support would be added advantage.
- Experiences on software development, experience in Windows/Linux driver development would be an added advantage.
