Company Background:
Our client is a leading MNC chipmaker in the computing and communications industries.

In this position, you will be working on validating the leading edge of it  server platform with latest technologies including latest it Xeon(TM) processors and chipsets in EPSD-VMSD. Enterprise Platforms and Services Division (EPSD) validation will include the compatibility testing of server platforms across a wide range of adapters, peripherals, and operating systems. This position can be a team lead role for senior people. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Engaging EPSD product development teams, developing test strategies and plans, executing tests, and reporting test results. 
• Characterizing and isolating both hardware and firmware issues. 
• Driving internal and external teams to implement test plan such as DV, Stress, CV and OS certification. 
• Driving internal and external teams to debug and fix issue.

Qualifications:
You must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with more than five years of experience. Additional qualifications include:

• Good understanding of computer system architecture and has experience with one or more server operating systems, such as Microsoft* Windows* Server, NetWare*, or various flavors of UNIX* and Linux*.
• An understanding of plug-n-play, resource allocation, device enumeration, Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI), error reporting, and other relevant BIOS functions as well as OS internal architecture, networking protocols and concepts. 
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills. 
• Possess leadership, project management, and validation experience. 
• Good verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English. 
• Good personal accountability and ownership to follow through with issue closure. 
• Excellent team player, works well with others in geographically dispersed organizations, and multiplexes time well between several diverse tasks and activities.
