Our client is a leading MNC chipmaker in the computing and communications industries.

Responsibility:
In this position, you will be joining Consumer Product Engineering Group (CPE) under Consumer Electronics Group (CEG) in China. We are looking for a talented and driven engineer that will provide the critical skills needed for developing and debugging silicon on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) testers, specifically CMT testers from Advantest. You will be testing complex 'System On A Chip' products that are manufactured on 90nm processes, working with multi-site teams on products with large logic designs and with significant IP reuse from outside groups and from outside It. As a technical lead of a small engineering team, you will be involved in all phases of FACR and CLF test hole closure including collaborate with SV/CV and soft/firm-ware team, working with AZ site to develop validation solutions for testing multiple high speed bus interconnects including SATA, PCIe, USB, HDMI and DDR. You will be responsible for driving unit test program construction, developing special test objects, creating user functions for data collection, special test conditions and understanding CorTex test object calls. Responsibilities will include hands-on silicon debug, silicon characterization, conversion of design simulation VCD pattern files to tester pattern files and possibly using the CMT 6.5G cards for test and silicon debug. You will be seeded with the Arizona team for a couple of months training before relocating to Shanghai for setting up the logistics, infrastructure and ramp up the entire FACR capabilities.

Qualification:

You should possess at least Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electronic Engineering with strong Computer Science background and at least five to seven years of VLSI CMOS test experience. Additional qualifications include:

• Background in UNIX*, Windows*, C and/or C++ and Perl; Good problem solving skills involving silicon debug and characterization along with the knowledge necessary to manipulate an ATE system to achieve them.
• Fluent in English verbal, written and presentation skills, and possess in-depth knowledge of two of the following skill sets with the third at the working knowledge level.
