Our client is a leading MNC chipmaker in the computing and communications industries.

Description: 
In this position, you will be part of ODM outsourcing enabling team responsible for working with independent BIOS vendors (IBV) or ODM to deliver high quality system BIOS for desktop platforms into marketplace. The responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Working with IBV and ODM to deliver system BIOS for desktop platforms. 
• Designing, developing and debugging BIOS code, mainly on Tiano. 
• Coordinating project schedule, prioritization, and planning . 
• Providing power-on debug and onsite support to ODM when needed. 
• Providing technical support to both internal and external customers.  
   

Qualifications:

 You must possess at least a Bachelor of Science degree in either Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with more than three years of applicable experience on either BIOS or device drivers.   Additional qualifications include:

• In-depth knowledge of PC architecture and BIOS. 
• Demonstrated skill with C/C++, 8086 Assembly language, ACPI, IA-32, and ITP utilization. 
• Good knowledge of bus protocols such as CPU, PCI*, PCI-Express*, USB, SATA, and memory. 
• Good knowledge of the EFI*, Framework*, and/or Tiano* BIOS would be an added advantage. 
• Excellent team player and communication skills.
