Company Background:
Our client is a well-known MNC company in various technology and services industries.    

Primary Responsibilities:

• The major responsibility is to build, lead and train a strong local application engineering team for on-schedule and quality order execution and pre-sales technical support for new orders.
• This team will work on Railway and Mass Transit industries with Signaling and Information/Control products.
• You will work very closely with commercial teams, with Global Engineering teams, and Local NPI teams. Also have plenty of communications with customers and partners.
  

Key responsibilities:

• Understand the business and customer needs and prepare the application engineering resource accordingly to execute the project
• Provide system expertise support to Product Manaitr for product introduction to customers and to quote and proposal during bidding phases. Accountable for preparing and signing off the system proposal, system architecture, technical clause by clause, acceptance process and criteria, assumption register and risk analysis.
• Coordinate with Product manaitment and lead strategic specification influencing activity at Customer and Design institute
• In collaboration wit Product manaitment, Manait user and system requirements activities, including requirement identification, in particular for system operation, performances and RAMS. 
• Plan and allocate the resources for each project and activity for the ever-changing needs.
• Provide system support to project during project execution, including during design liaison meeting with customer.
• Plan and train team members for the technology and skill sets that are needed in current and coming tasks.
• Assess system approval process, approval criteria and identify the impact on project execution, project planning and system verification and validation support required, including tools.
• Lead system integration & validation, trouble shooting and T&C activities, including its localization (test bench ¨C tools ¨C processes).
• Coordinate system MGPP with the global system team.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor degree (or above) in EE, CS or Control.
• 10+ years Professional knowledit/expertise in signaling, including experience in system integration, Test& Commissioning, RAMS, safety approval with reference to CENELEC standard and overall system approval.
• Experience in team manaitment.
• Experience in technical and approval negotiation with customer
• Strong leadership and self -motivation. Capability to lead development of the activity from scratch.
• Strong inclusiveness to develop local team competency in domain
• Excellent project planning and manaitment skills.
• Commercial sense to understand business needs and customer requirements.
• The ability to make sound judgments and decisions in tough, uritnt situations and under pressure, taritt and process oriented.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, Good listening and mentoring skills.
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.

Desired:

• Hands-on Railway Signaling, Control, or Communication background.
• International experience in both Main line and Transit application preferred
• Cross-functional experiences.
• Six Sigma certification.
• Master Degree in electronic, electro-technique or computer sciences preferred.
