Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage team, company mission and strategy:
- Be responsible for managing a group of high performing enterprise application developers in one or more geo locations. The immediate focus is to manage a group of CRM developers located in Shanghai, China.
- Provides day to day management support for all CRM developers located in Shanghai, China.
- Selects, develops and builds the team by recruiting resources and developing existing employees; provides ongoing feedback, training and development to meet organizational goals.
- Provides regular status updates to senior manager on status of projects, systems, problems and issues. Provides escalated support for problems and issues.
- Influences and/or creates strategy by proposing appropriate changes to business systems. Stays on top of the CRM technologies.
- Tracks and analyzes operational metrics such as systems effectiveness, project status, development productivities and return on investments.
- Implements and follows Autodesk standards and policies as defined by corporate and division senior management; escalates exceptions to direct manager or senior management staff.
Manage project and system delivery and production system support:
- Manages design and development of the Autodesk CRM applications including Siebel Call Center and Partner Center and other supporting CRM applications such as SalesForce.com and Trillium applications.
- Works directly with Business Analyst and Architect team to do business requirements analysis, and solution design to meet the functional, performance, and security requirements.
- Assures business process functional, performance, and security requirements have been adequately addressed through system design and development.
- Establishes priorities for systems design and implementation to be in line with release strategies and business priorities.
- Supervises the team to identify major technical risk areas, and develop appropriate mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Works directly with QA team to support system validation including functional, regression and performance testing.
- Works with production support and other functional group to ensure the application quality in the production system, address the production issues within the SLA.
Required Experience and Skill set:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering field is required.
- Minimum 8 years working experience in IT Enterprise Application development.
- Minimum 4 years IT Enterprise Application development manager experience in managing a team of high performance enterprise application developers.
- Minimum 2 years Siebel application development experience in using Siebel Tools to config and customize Siebel applications.
- Experience with CRM and ERP concepts; working knowledge with Siebel Call Center, eChannel, and eCustomer; knowledge with SaleForce.com, Web Portal Applications, and enterprise application integration.
- Strong knowledge and hands on experience in SQL query and PL/SQL programming.
- Some experience in developing workflow, integration object, and business services object.
- Expertise in system requirements analysis, and all aspects of system application and integration design, configuration, and customization.
- Quick learner (a must), in business rules, IT applications, technologies, and technical programming skills.
- Must have superior analytical skills.
- Must have strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
- Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to deliver under pressure and sometimes with short timelines.
- Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated.
- Strong knowledge and experience of business processes is a must.
