Company Background: Our client is a leading MNC chipmaker in the computing and communications industries.
Requirement: In this position, you will be responsible to enable it based IT manageability solutions at OEM customers. This position will involve customer interaction at client (mobile and desktop) PC R&D facilities in PRC. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Working with sales team and together delivering technical solution to customers.
- Working directly with customer engineers to provide technical solution and resolve open issues.
- Providing technical leadership to address customer concerns with it products.
Qualification: You must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent with five years above of industry experience in firmware, debug or low-level software engineering. An advanced degree is preferred. Additional qualifications include:
- Excellent communication (including spoken and written English) and customer support skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills (with proven track record of cross group collaboration).
- Working knowledge of PC architecture (hardware, software, firmware).
- Excellent problem solving skills, comfortable with the use of software tools to diagnose and debug BIOS, firmware and software issues.
- Working knowledge of fundamental networking technologies, such as Ethernet, MAC*, TCP/IP, XML, HTTP and associated areas. Knowledge of C, C++, XML and/or other programming or scripting languages.
- Presentation skills and the ability understand, specify and communicate requirements to marketing and engineering teams.
- Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment and to achieve high quality results.
- Ability to travel.
- Experience with IT manageability solutions would be an added advantage.
- An in-depth understanding of AMT-related issues and business relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) or Original Design Manufacturers (ODM) customers would be an added advantage.
