The SQL Services Integration Services (SSIS) China team is looking for an experienced Program Manager to help us expand our V1.0 product to market leadership, and then to change the very definition of the data integration market by leveraging "better together" with our partners and the rest of the Microsoft platform.

We are looking for someone who is self motivated, disciplined and flexible. The candidate must possess a strong customer focus but will also need a strong technical background. As a member of our Shanghai team, you will own the definition and specification of product features and will influence the entire product direction. You will be responsible for the creation of specifications and sheparding features through release. In addition, you will be an active touch point with customers and industry and the conduit of customer needs to the team. To be successful in this position, you will need excellent cross-team collaboration skills, as a significant portion of this position will involve coordinating goals, priorities and plans between the Shanghai and Redmond teams.

Requirements include significant years experience in data integration or data warehousing and a track record of developing and shipping commercial enterprise products (such as database, operating system, email server). Additional requirements include strong communication, organizational and negotiation skills, as well as experience in delivering high quality specifications. Ability to manage several projects and make decisions independently is also required. A BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field is required; a Masters degree is preferred. Fluency in English is required; fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) is preferred.
