Product Competitiveness: The primary responsibility for the role is to ensure that the Microsoft Dynamics products are legally compliant relative to Tax and regulatory requirements. The major secondary need is to drive in-country competitiveness. This involves managing your team of Sub-PMs to ensure they understand the local market conditions and working with the local sales and marketing teams to establish a clear strategy for increasing and measuring competitiveness.
Partners and Customers: You must ensure a strong working relationship with it Dynamics Partners & Customer to ensure that local requirements are understood. This role will involve understanding and balancing potentially conflicting needs and pressures while maintaining and growing product line revenue and ensuring customer and partner satisfaction growth.
Team management: This role involves managing a team of approximately 4-6 Sub-PM's each based in a different country and who are responsible for driving their country needs into the Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or NAV products. Thus, it is critical that you are able to respect and embrace diversity and manage people from different backgrounds and cultures. You must strike the right balance between ensuring a single team unit driving for common goals whilst also striving to ensure the best product for each country
Communication and Prioritization: As indicated above there will be a need to balance the workload and deliverables of the individuals and of the team. The GDL team works in a dynamic and changing environment. You must be able to deal with ambiguity that comes from changing project priorities resulting from new and unpredictable governmental requirements. Part of dealing with this ambiguity requires that you are able to prioritize work adequately and quickly and be able to communicate the reasons for such changes to your team members and to the local it Dynamics business group team members. Often the work requested may exceed capacity. It is therefore important that you determine the most important activities for your team and the associate Development organization to ensure legal compliance and maximum revenue opportunity. |
