Company Background:
Our client is a JV plant to produce engines in Beijing.

Job Responsibility:

• Be responsible for machines and processes in a section of the Engine assembly system 
• Be responsible for Torque tool and special tooling engineering support for engine assembly 
• Assist with procurement and installation of the Engine Assembly and Test equipment 
• Train operators and maintenance on new processes and equipment 
• Improve station ergonomics and layouts by designing new assembly tooling and station layouts. 
• Provide Manufacturing Engineering support for all of assembly, test and up fit areas. 
• Design, develop and set up world class methods and processes. 
• Act as one of the integrated manufacturing assembly team. 
• Evaluate and assist with capacity and staffing planning activities. 
• Assist in developing the Manufacturing Change Request (MCR) process.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree majored in Industry, Electrics or Mechanical Engineering. 
• Have practical experience with Atlas Copco (or other brand) DC torque tools (handheld and fixtured spindles) in a high volume assembly environment. 
• Have experience in Assembly Line design/purchase/installation, Equipment layout, Project management, Plant Layout and materials flow.  
• Have relative knowledge of industrial machinery/test equipment (fluid power, electrical and mechanical systems, feedback control systems, etc.) 
• Be familiar with Total Quality Management, Lean Manufacturing, Failsafe Techniques, Job Safety analysis, Simulation Engineering, Simultaneous Engineering, and Six Sigma tools. 
• Have working knowledge of basic quality tools such as  Pareto Analysis, FMEA, CMEA, MQV, 6 sigma DFSS tools is preferred 
• Have willingness and ability to work and lead in a team environment as well as facilitating cross-functional teams. 
• Be capable of performing multiple tasks and ability to prioritize in a fluctuating environment. 
• Good English speaking and writing are preferred.
