Required Knowledge & Skills:

• 7+ years experience in software production industry, with at least 5+ yrs of direct project/program management experience
• BS degree required, advanced degree preferred
• Excellent communicator in English (oral, written, and presentation)
• Proven track record in building of project schedule framework, identification of dependencies, and negotiations with 3rd parties/internal teams without direction from others
• Proven track record of driving problem resolution beyond project team level (cross-functional, cross-teams)
• Proficiency in preparation for and doing project reviews to diverse audiences
• Facilitates communication beyond immediate group, can resolve miscommunication and tailor content of communication independently
• Ability to analyze and do critical thinking of diverse problem scope for projects
• Ability to identify risks and top issues with projects, and develop mitigation plans for these risks/issues, and follow-thru independently.
• Ability to develop and implement process improvements.
• Strong general people skills and soft skills (negotiations, communication, proactiveness, prioritization, building synergy, etc)
