Company Background: Our client is the world's leading desktop publishing software provider and one of the world's largest and most diversified software companies.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Working in very close partnership with China Managing Director and advising, collaborating and influencing all levels of management (Manager to VP) on all aspects of people management and leadership. Focus will be on performance management and organizational development;
- Assuring compliance of all employment/labour laws through programs, practices, policies, investigations, training, and actions.
- Working collaboratively with the APAC HR team and corporate HR to ensure the effective development of pragmatic and timely programs and tools to drive business goals; provides feedback on implementation and utilisation of tools to ensure flawless execution; responsible for representing the client's needs and providing client feedback as appropriate.
- Responding to concerns around performance management, improvement, harassment, discrimination, misconduct, employee safety, teamwork, etc.
- Increasing the level of understanding of the HR policies and procedures, ensuring corporate and APAC HR support of the region in achieving people management objectives.
- Representing and being an advocate for the sales & marketing employee population.
- Participating in the creation and implementation of relevant management training and employee development programs, with advice and support from the Learning and Development team based at Corporate.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Track record developed in a similar HR business partnership role in the technology sector, engaging at senior level.
- Demonstrated ability in managing complex employee relations/performance management matters.
- Ability to manage and drive strategic hiring initiatives.
- The preferred candidate will have a successful track record of problem solving, a 'can-do' attitude, excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise positively with all levels of management.
- Must be comfortable with change in all its facets, and to lead others through change
- The ideal candidate must also demonstrate a working knowledge of local employment law; strong organizational skills; time management skills and personal initiative are all required competencies
