Responsibilities: 

•  Coordinates all aspects of the business for development and release of technologies, products, features, functions, customer deployments of enterprise software, and/or product designs. 
• Understands and assesses critical paths and dependencies for delivering and shipping products and facilitates discussions between project teams, product management and engineering. 
• Performs risk management planning, identification, analysis, responses, monitoring and control on a project. Increases probability of positive events. 
• Performs project planning to establish an overall project plan, including key milestones and milestone criteria, and drives progress to achieve project plan within time and budget constraints.
  Understands and coordinates sequencing of projects to accomplish progress. 
• Aggregates, organizes, and synthesizes program and project information in order to communicate with extended team and management 
• Ensures Ongoing Operations and maintenance plans are completed for all Design Segment Services or Programs. 
• Evaluates existing processes and procedures. Makes recommendations and drives process improvement and adoption of best practices (processes, tools, decision making matrix etc) to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.

Desired General Project Management Skill Set: 

• Fully understands the triple constraint of Schedule, Quality and Functionality. 
• Solid knowledge of software development fundamentals ¨C has worked on teams using different SDLCs [software development lifecycles or processes]
• Understands how to apply scope control techniques 
• Highly flexible, and able to change course quickly 
• Evidenced ability to build support for ideas ¨C credible enough in the role to influence highly intelligent and highly technical team members 
• Experience modifying and/or defining processes rather than applying what exists today 
• Evidenced ability to sustain positive, forward momentum in confusing circumstances
• High tolerance for ambiguity
• General interest in new things
   
  Experience and Education:

• Typically requires 3+ years of relevant experience, including project/program management experience 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ideally candidates would have experience related to development of desktop software or maintenance programs.
• Ideally candidates would have experience in delivering complex web applications andhave a background as a web producer or web project managers. 
• Ideally candidate has some experience working in a production operations environmebefore on the front line, and has experience with multiple ship cycles in a fast paced, wenvironment.
• Ideally some experience with new v1.0 product development and can articulate the particular challenges with this from a software, business, and Project Management perspective.
