Our client is a well-known MNC company in various technology and services industries.
Primary Responsibilities:
- The Drilling Lead Field engineer is responsible for providing technical and customer support for installed Oilfield Technology drilling systems. You will be an important part of the OFT customer support team - often as the primary IT representative - and will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and debug complex MWD/LWD systems.
- Provide leadership, technical direction, and assistance to the customer, user, and other it field personnel in the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of assigned product lines
- Assist customer with improving reliability and reducing cost of ownership
- Work with customer technicians who may, in some cases, respond for first line maintenance items.
- Assume responsibility for continued customer satisfaction, and coordinate all activities with the customer.
- Report activities, maintain local spare parts inventory, recording travel expenses and time card, maintain customer log books, and use sound judgment when dealing with customers.
- Other duties include maintaining excellent customer relations, professionally representing it Oilfield technology, and assisting with customer training
Qualifications Required:
- Degree in Oilfield discipline or related work experience.
- At least 5 years experience as a field service/application engineer in oilfield industry.
- Familiar with it Geolink/Tensor products
- Good customer skills and the ability to work under pressure are required.
- Must be self-starter, work well without supervision, and accept responsibility.
- Strong English skill for internal/external communication
