Mobile Technology Center (MTC), located in Beijing, is an extension organization of Mobile Communication Product Group and a key pillar of the China Research and Development Group.  We are focused on building the next generation Windows Mobile platform and key Mobile applications.

MTC is looking for an exceptional Program Manager to manage the development of the Windows Mobile Cellcore(TAPI, Data, STK, RIL etc) area.  As Program Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Work with dev team and test team drive best telephone and data component in  Windows Mobile, including feature definition, writing function spec, leading architecture discussion and fulfilling product commitments.
• Define project plan and monitor project execution, manage project risk and dependency.
• Represent the MTC Cellcore team to our US partner teams.  Be the liaison between the US team and the China team.
• Promote homogenous working environment among team and drive issue closure with soft skills.

The candidate should have following qualification:

• At least 6 years in software development in embedded system.
• Deep understanding the telecommunication area such as GSM, UMTS etc.
• Excellent in project management and risk management.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills in English. Ability to communicate effectively with partner inside and outside of Microsoft.
• Strong customer empathy.
• Strong collaboration skills for building partnership.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Development experience in Windows Mobile or other embedded products is preferred, but not required.  The candidate must be willing to relocate to Beijing.
