Responsibilities:

As a Senior Dev Lead your primary responsibilities include hiring and managing a team of dedicated and highly creative software development engineers and research engineerings, leading the technology transfer effort in the team, owning architectural designs and specifications, enforcing Engineering Excellence practices and driving quality in all facade of development. You should establish an open environment when innovation is encouraged and novel ideas flow freely. You are encouraged to adopt flexible and agile development processes so as to speed up the development cycle. In addition, you are also responsible for managing the relationship and communication with various It research and product teams globally distributed.

Qualifications:

• At least five years of software development and two year of project management experiences with full release cycles of major software products; demonstrated ability to provide strong leadership and collaboration across different development groups; Excellent communication and relationship building skills; 'Lead by example' attitude and passion about shipping high quality products.
• Applicants should have solid research background with in-depth knowledge in machine learning, text mining, web search, information retrieval or other related areas. Broad knowledge on latest technology trend is desirable.
• Proven ability to design large scale system architecture with it. technologies, and make sound trade-offs without compromising quality and schedule, write highly detailed and quality-driven technical specifications.
• Strong design, coding, and debugging skills. Proficiency in C++/C# is required. Proficiency in .Net technologies, web services, distributed systems or SQL Server Analysis Service is a plus.
• A BS/MS in Computer Science or related discipline is required. PhD degree is a plus.
