We are looking for a strong senior technical leader who has experiences in developing and managing back-office applications and leading a growing team in capacity and capability year over year in China.  This leader will also be part of it China leadership team which is chartered to grow it China engineering leveraging well educated and positioned China talents.  He/She will also be in the leadership role of global Enterprise Application Services division. 
The EAS China Engineering Team is chartered to ramp up a dependable, high caliber and multi-domain enterprise application development to support ever growing needs of Microsoft Enterprise Application services.  The business domain includes Electronic Data Interchange using Biztalk, Dynamics AX implementation, and SAP implementation.
Specific Knowledge/Skills:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science
• MIS or related fields with 15+ years of related work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
• A demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems in a multi-tiered system environment is required.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Strong background in people management, IT strategy and planning, technical know-how and project management skills with proven track record of managing multiple IT teams.
• Strong Strategic Analysis & Strategic Planning capability[f7]
• Proficiency with software lifecycle methodology and information systems development is required.
• Experience with C# or equivalent programming language is required.
• Experience with .NET Framework, Web programming, Design Patterns, Service Oriented Architecture, and distributed systems are highly desirable.
• Experience with XML is a strong plus.
• Experience with BTS (BizTalk Server), Gentran or other translators is a strong plus. 
• Experience with SQL Server or other enterprise scale databases is required.
• Working knowledge or experience with BTS accelerators or adaptors, EDI (Electronic Data Interface), IDoc (Intermediate Documents), Web Services, WCF (It Communication Framework), AS2 (Applicability Statement 2), HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure ) and VAN (Value Added Network) are strong pluses.
• Experience working on projects with global teams is a strong plus.
  Responsibilities:
• Driving business strategies for the team
• Internal communication and management of overall team's development direction, program scope, schedule, budget.
• Oversight of team's operation to ensure timely delivery of each project with high quality.
• Coordination across teams of System Analysis, Program Management, Development, Test, QA, and Production Support groups for timely delivery of releases with high quality.
• Identification and management of major program risks and issues and working to mitigate the risks and preventing the issues from negatively impacting the program.
• Facilitating internal project team communication.
• Leading team to achieve goals set by stakeholders and organization.
• Developing senior staffs to meet future needs.
