Job Description:

It China Photoshop QE Team is looking for a strong quality engineering lead to join us in building the next release of Photoshop product.
Candidate with BS and higher in CS related major is expected, and, a minimum of 2 yrs experience in QE and 1 year as product test lead or other management experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate good team work capability; identify risks and testing weak areas for team members
• Create automation development plan, execute automation tools/framework development
• Own test areas, execute manual test and automate test cases
• Lead the team to execute Photoshop regular test
• Create/update/maintain/review test plans, test cases and test files
• Create/update/maintain test scripts and test data for automation testing
• Review and analyze bug reports during development cycle. Escalate and communicate critical quality issues with development, core product QE and other site team to ensure a high-quality product delivery.
• Able to develop efficient and effective processes and tools in the team for ongoing team productivity improvement. 
• Provides project status to management regularly as well as identifying and suggesting mitigations for high-level risk 
• Demonstrates a keen understanding of the value of team processes displaying a commitment to continually improving QA and department practices and methodologies
• Analyze test results and deliver detailed reports that accurately isolate problems; 
• Create and measure realistic quality goals and processes for the team;
• Collaborate with engineering teams at various sites, such as US;
• Work with prerelease customers to get feedback and track down issues;

Knowledge & Skills Required:

• Strong coding/scripting skills.
• Rich experience in Automation.
• Possesses first-rate Quality Engineering skills/knowledge.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Mac and Windows operating system.
• Demonstrated ability to create, debug or update test scripts.
• Proven Experience with creating test plans, test strategy.
• Demonstrated knowledge of color principle and theory, such as color space, color profile and color management.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• High energy levels, Positive attitude, Independent decision making and problem solving skills.
• Self starter and motivator, quick learner

Desired and Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of audio/video file format, especially for PDF, TIFF, EPS, JPEG, PNG, etc.
• Knowledge of it color management system and related other color management system, such as ColorSync.
• Knowledge about Photoshop product or other suite products, and related competitors DTP software.
• Knowledge of automation testing concept, methodology, framework and tools
• Knowledge about Flex/Action script programming is a big plus
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented programming with at least one language: Java/C++/Perl/JavaScript/PHP/Python.
