Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
This role is one of the key leadership position in the CT PL organization for Performance/Value segment, responsible for New Product Development. it offers an unique opportunity for significant business, market, patient care and customer impact. This position requires excellent leadership skills to operate in a cross-functional environment and own all aspects of new product introduction for the Value/Performance & Oncology segment of our CT business. Key interfaces include : Global Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Supply chain, Marketing and customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead cross-functional program execution including but not limited to concept discussion, business case, initial program planning, program execution, risk management, trials, and product field delivery. Set up mechanisms that enable predictable execution-time to market, cost, quality and functionality that provide significant value to our customers.
- Strengthen the foundation of product development. Ensure product development is fully compliant with regulatory/quality management requirements. Leverage set-based design to promote use of proven technology and deliver world class 'out of the box' quality products.
Develop product roadmaps, execution planning and effective operating mechanism, resource and budget control and executive reporting. Drive target costing activities including collaboration with engineering on allocation.
- Own of all aspects of your product/program-customer value, performance & quality, business impact & compliance.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above, 10+ years of work experience, Engineering or related background.
- 5+ years of experience in product development/design/systems or operations.
Desired:
- 8+ years of overall experience in a global environment.
- Six sigma certification is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to motivate & lead a team of direct reports and matrixed cross-functions towards a common vision & goal.
- Familiarity with healthcare industry, knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements and passion for customer satisfaction.
- Good communication skills, fluent in English, and ability to influence at all levels
