Description:
The Process Engineering Manager is to lead project engineers' team to identify, implement process development projects to increase the site capacity / flexibility, safety and quality level.Assist engineering manager to achieve department goals by ensuring team members achieve their personal goals and promoting teamwork and collaboration throughout department.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work with team to identify and implement process improvement projects.
- Ensure all the executed projects are within the required timeline and budget and minimize the impact to the normal production during the project execution.
- Establish the specific project team to the specific project to help the project successfully.
- Support and help the project engineers to execute the project and coordinate between different departments or inside Engineering Department.
- Support or give the expertise suggestion of all other department projects.
- Give the expertise support to the maintenance group in routine maintenance and trouble shooting.
- Ensure all the activities performed by the team members are in compliance with Shanghai plant's procedure, GMP procedure and EHS procedure.
- Ensure that all the members are adequately educated and trained for their tasks. Selects and motivates staff so that they are employed in the most efficient manner, maximize their performance and potential and abide by safe working practices.
- Ensure the group cost in the planned budget.
Quality Specific Goals:
- Aware of and comply with the Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
- Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
- Knowledge and understanding of production process Work Instructions and operates within them to ensure that a device conforms to its specifications
- Ensures the creation of accurate, complete and timely records and DHRs
Qualifications:
- University degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical engineering, chemical engineering and other related areas.
- 5+years' experience in Pharmaceutical, 2+ years' experience in validation or project management.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Good command of English and computer skill.
