Description:
The CS China Strategic Marketing Manager is responsible for initiating and spearheaded marketing strategy throughout the organization, aligning strategic execution across Greater China for all CS P&Ls to drive innovation and growth. This person is also responsible for defining and developing a common strategy to address CS healthcare markets, such as Ultrasound, MS/Dcar and LSS etc. In addition, he/she will set priorities to match market needs and growth potential.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Commission broad market research to identify market opportunities
- Collecting the benefits sought & unspoken needs of all customer segments
- Define and develop a strategy to address CS markets, such as Ultrasound, MS/Dcar and LSS etc .Owning the Growth Playbook process
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge and understanding of trends and requirements in the defined healthcare market.
- Working closely with Business Development on acquisition exploration and growth potential
- Continually evaluate the product portfolio versus customer needs and competitive actions to identify opportunities for rationalization (LEAN) and strengthening
- Developing China CS marketing plan (with input from stakeholders), and value proposition which is provided to product segment and regional teams for localization & execution
- Identifying points of intersection and creating collaboration with other GE P&Ls and businesses
- Leading segmentation effort across all P&Ls in CS China
- Ensuring regional/operational plans & executions are in accordance with stated global marketing plan (value proposition, positioning, marketing mix, etc.)
- Align cross-business marketing resources around healthcare marketing priorities and ensure common messaging and a holistic value proposition for the customer.
- Direct market research and analysis in the care areas.
- Attract and retain world-class commercial talent.

- Aware of and comply with the Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
- Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Engineering, or equivalent ( 10 years experience in product marketing (in addition to a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Engineering)
- 3 years experience in Marketing leadership with direct reports
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or Master's degree in Marketing
- Deep marketing expertise in market & customer insights, product commercialization and branding
- Healthcare product/industry acumen
- Leadership skills to lead teams and shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy
- Innovation ¨C develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
- Strong analytical and process skills
- Team oriented ¨C ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional team
