Company Background:
Our client is a well-known MNC company in various technology and services industries.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Performing detailed thermal design and analysis activities of components or assembly or sub-systems using simulation tools like ICEPACK or FLOWTHERM
• Conducting thermal simulations with structural heat transfer involving conduction, convection.
• Performing thermal analysis involving electronic system cooling simulation
• Working with design team to decide on the analysis methodology and simulating the operating conditions and failure criteria
• Proposing testing methods to conduct analysis validation tests for correlation study.
• Understanding design problems and assist through various analysis methods and hands on calculations in the proposal of design solutions with consideration to performance, manufacturability, materials, etc

• Aware of and comply with the Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
• Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
• Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
• Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs/Program Deliverables
• Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible
  

Qualifications/Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Mechanics or Aerospace Engineering 
•  4+ years experience in mechanical design, analysis or project engineering
• In-depth understanding of heat transfer, thermal analysis, finite element method, failure analysis and engineering design concepts
• Experience with thermal simulation tools like ICEPACK or FLOWTHERM
• Experience in thermal analysis of electronics components and Systems & predictive engineering

Desired Characteristics:

• MS in a technology field
