Description:

The Network Design & Optimization Leader is responsible for leading and driving Supply Chain, Logistics/Transportation, and Network Optimization type projects aimed at improving Service and reducing logistics costs in the assigned region(s).  In addition, they will add insight and expertise to overall Logistics Vision, Mission, and strategic imperatives as required.

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform modeling and simulation of financial and operational processes for decision making, as far up and down the value chain as required.
• Develop supply-chain intelligence, including evaluating market value to product, generating intelligence around how to serve market needs with supply-chain operations, and assessing the impact of new product and process technology on the network configuration and overall supply-chain performance.
• Drive distribution center consolidation, and improved trade flows.
• Formalize analysis and recommendations into executive summaries for decision making.
• Identifying, creating, and implementing Standard Operating Procedures and guidelines as needed to help improve Logistic results and process rigor.

Quality Specific Goals:

• Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
• Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
• Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
• Proficient knowledge, understanding and leadership for International Trade Compliance, identify, report and resolve any trade compliance issues.
• Proficient knowledge, understand and leadership for operating within security programs such as CTPAT and AEO to ensure that warehousing, packaging and transportation requirements are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Industry Engineering
  Minimum of 3 years of experience with multiple distribution centers, related technology, all modes of transportation, international trade compliance, financial analysis and project management
• Experience in logistics or financial/supply chain modeling & simulation.
• Proven business/financial acumen, including demonstrated ability to motivate, influence, solve complex problems, and drive change at all levels of the organization. 
• Proven ability to meet deadline in a fast paces changing environment.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or MS in Logistics, Engineering or Supply Chain
• Engineering or Supply Chain in a similar industry.
• Proven ability to work on cross-functional, multi-cultural teams
• Excellent project management, communication and analytical skills 
• Ability to energize, develop and influence at all levels within an organization
• Creates energy to deliver company goals through creation and comprehensive communication of practical "hands-on" operational plans and strategies 
• Familiar with Jonova, LogicNet, Optiant logistic software is preferred.
• Proven growth leadership skills demonstrating clear perspective and understand factors impacting GEHC businesses and our suppliers.
