Our client is a leading MNC chipmaker in the computing and communications industries.

Job Description:

• Responsible for mechanical design, modeling and validation for notebook/All-in-one including I/O placement, chassis and mechanical architecture design.
• Compose notebook mechanical design guide, validation processes and methodologies applicable to ODMs on notebook/AIO products.
• Develop cost effective mechanical & structural solutions and resolving the manufacturing/tooling issues and to provide customer trainings.
• Create and drive technical specs for notebook modularity independently

Qualifications:

• You must possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with more than 10 years of mechanical design experience or a Master degree with 7 years industry experience.
• You must be a senior engineer familiar with notebook/AIO PC design and mechanical design tools (Pro-E). Structural analysis tool is a plus (ABAQUS or Ansys).
• Be versed in NB/mobile motherboard or some system components design. Proven successful motherboard or system product design/integration experience is a must. NB/desktop or CE/MID product design experience is preferred.
• Good record as technical individual contributor
• Experience of international cooperation is expected. MNC or top ODM/OEM working experience preferred
• Experience in completion of at least three generation of full Product Life Cycle is preferred
• Highly self motivated and disciplined
• Open mind in cross culture and cross team work with result orientation
• Good team work and communication skills
• Fluent oral and written English
• Good business acumen
