You must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent with more than five years of industry related experiences. Additional qualifications include:

• Good verbal communication and presentation skill in both Chinese and English. 
• Strong experiences in Video/Audio CODEC or streaming development with solid understanding on Linux* kernel and device driver development environment 
• Strong coding and technical trouble shooting skills
• Solid understanding of IA-32 architecture 
• Familiar with Set-Top-Box and Digital TV industry.
• Ability to work well in a team environment 
• Ability to own and drive resolution of technical issues 
• Willingness to travel to customers locations in APAC and other Intel sites
   

Job Description:

The Application Engineer is primarily a Software Engineer/Developer. Significant contribution also result when the AE acts as a product evangelist, program/project manager and technical issue resolver. Application Engineers act as consultants and provide technical support to third party product developers. Responsibilities may include: participating in new product development, representing the customers technical needs, creating competitive analysis from a technical perspective, developing and presenting technical product training materials, helping resolve customers technical issues, etc.
