Company Background: Our client is a leading MNC chipmaker in the computing and communications industries.
Job relationship and role: You are part of the PRC PR department which reports to the China Marketing and Channel Group. You report to the PR Group Manager.
The success of your performance is based on the below criteria:
- Planning, execution and outcome
- Be capable to work with the PR team and PR agency to develop communications plan with SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and timely) objectives
- Drive execution and deliver timely. Seek for the impactful outcome from both quantity and quality
- Strategic counseling and professional advice
- Define, develop and drive strategic PR programs and provide professional advice to both internal and external stakeholder ? with ?CAN DO SMARTER PR? attitude
- Media relations enhancement and management
- Define, develop and drive strategic media relations programs
- Ongoing communications with press guided by two way communications strategy
- Team collaboration and internal stakeholders management
- Work collaboratively and constructively within the PR group and MCG and beyond
- Ability to influence the internal stakeholders to take the right PR approach in term of issue management, positioning, messaging, and programs development, etc
- Well manage internal stakeholders? expectation and be able to ZBB in a professional way
- Proactively and actively involve the PR group discussion
- Agency management
- Demonstrate effective agency management and leverage agency as a valuable resource toward program objectives
- Help agency improve the strategic thinking instead of using as execution only
- Master degree with major in marketing or communications, and has six to eight years of experience in Public Relations or journalism
- In-depth knowledge and previous PR or journalism work in Information Technology (IT) and/or computer industry is preferred
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Ability to excel as an individual and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-centric, ambiguous and interrupt-driven environment
- Strong organization skills, team spirit and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and in a crisis situation, creativity and a tendency to think outside the box; passion for do something new and risk-taking
- Experience in working with and/or managing outside vendors, such as PR or marketing agencies, would be an added advantage
- Chinese and English fluency in speaking, reading and writing
