Job Description:
Works closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources at the business unit or division level, such as salary review, stock renewal, workforce planning and others. Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach. Assists senior management in the development of solutions through cultural and process-oriented perspectives. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, data analysis and problem solving. Having broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Contacts pertain to significant matters often involving coordination among groups. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments. Qualifications:
You should possess a Master's degree in Behavioral Science Discipline (Organizational Development, Human Resource Development or related field) with a minimum of six to eight years of experience consulting. Additional qualifications include:
- Factory startup experience
- Previous international and/or non-U.S. work experience
- Demonstrated through prior experience an advanced knowledge of organization and leadership and/or management theories and their application in a rapidly growing, rapidly changing high-tech environment
- Areas of competence include: organization design (structures and processes), change and transition management, organization analysis and diagnosis, strategic management, conceptual thinking (converting organization theory into practical action to achieve results), small and large group facilitation skills, people management skills and senior management coaching
- Ability to translate business needs into effective development programs and/or systemic interventions
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully across cultural boundaries and with a diverse and geographically dispersed organization
- Demonstrated project and/or program management skills in a fast paced, ambiguous environment
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Broad work experience in partnering and developing credibility with all levels of the organization as well as a proven track record in positively influencing systemic change with mid and senior managers within the startup fab and key support group organizations
