Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must be creative, have strong problem solving ability and a desire to deliver cutting edge technology in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A high degree of confidence in Java/J2ME and/or C/C++ development is highly desirable. Must be outgoing and also have a strong inclination to take ownership of customer problems and work with internal resources to provide solutions for customer problems.
You should also possess more than 3 years working experience as a SW developer for a Master of Science degree or more than 5 years working experience for a Bachelor of Science degree on Computer Science, or Computer Engineering or Electronic Engineering.
Additional qualifications include:
- Strong software development background, including experience with Linux* drivers/kernel, middleware and applications development
- Must have very strong algorithmic skills, and a strong desire to tackle challenging and unknown areas.
- Must exhibit technical & problem solving skills to define & execute tasks independently and have strong written and verbal communications in both English and Mandarin
- Excellent Linux SW development, testing and debugging skills in Java/J2ME and C/C++. Be familiar with Linux development environment and had a proven track record in SW product development through a full life cycle
- Experience in device driver development on Android platform.
- Experience in Google Android Dalvik VM programming with good understanding OO coding principles.
- Experience in Android system optimization, including driver and middleware.
The following qualifications would be added advantages
- Experience in Android phone related project is highly appreciated.
- Experience to work effectively across organizational and geographic boundaries; A proven ability to take ownership of multidisciplinary problems and drive them to closure
- In depth understanding on Linux* kernel and/or driver development
- Knowledge of open source development models, and experience dealing with Linux* OSVs and organizations developing open source sw outside of Intel
- Knowledge of Intel IA-32 architecture and/or Linux phone SW stack
- Experience in interfacing with external customers and fellow travelers to work on customer issues and bug fixes
- Be able to consider multiple technical alternatives and present key findings in a clear and succinct manner.
