Company Background: Our client is a leading MNC chipmaker in the computing and communications industries.
Responsibilities: In this position, you will be working for the DCM (Data Center Manager) project, focusing on architecture, design & implementation for DCM product. You are expected to deliver design & code for core components of DCM, ensure marketing requirements are well understood and interpreted into technical terms, come up with architecture & design proposals according to the requirements, influence software architecture & specifications, and work with other developers to implement according to the designs with highest quality. You may also work with third party companies (ISV, OEM, etc); cooperate with them on product development.
Qualifications:
You must possess a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, or a related field with more than 5 years of relevant development experience; or a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, or a related field with a minimum of 7 years of relevant development experience. Additional qualifications include:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in full software lifecycle development from requirements capture through to post deployment support.
- Familiar with C/C++ or Java language, object oriented design and development using industry recognized tools and techniques. Expertise in design methodologies such as UML would be useful.
- Familiar with Intel(r) architecture and PC Desktop/Server hardware technologies, including motherboard, chipset, I/O, graphics, memory, power management and others.
- A significant technology expertise on various fields, including Networking, OS, Design Pattern, computer architecture, etc.
- Ability to rapidly acquire working knowledge of unfamiliar new technologies
- Good English and Mandarin communication skills, including speaking, listening and writing
- Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills, able to operate independently with little supervision. Having leadership experience is preferred.
