Job description:

• Represent Logistics in the relevant forums (Commodity meeting), coordinate and report on activities with Quality and Purchasing
• Plan, prepare and conduct audits with the BBDC Logistics and initiate and track countermeasures if necessary
• Support the planning process of local content suppliers
• Release supplier production processes and parts from a logistics point of view
• Contact to suppliers in Logistics-related issues, ensure distribution of relevant project information
• Propose and introduce corrective LOG measures to stabilize supplier processes continuously (incl. Task force management)
• Monitor supplier planning process and process readiness status in the new product creation phase before ramp-up phase (Production planning logistics issues), including sub-supplier management for allocated suppliers
• Communication, Support and Process Improvement (Extended Task)
• Facilitate and foster effective communication between MBC and BBDC departments, and suppliers for an efficient LOG supplier management system
• Train new member of SRM team on the job
• Adapt / improve the SRM method to reflect the specific needs of Supplier Development in the Chinese market

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Studies in Business or Industrial Engineering
• Several years work experiences in Logistics Planning and/or Supplier
• Readiness Logistics
• Knowledge of automotive industry
• Fluent in written and spoken English
