Contractual Services Sales Manager(3373)

Company Background:
Our client is a well-known MNC company in various technology and services industries.


About Us - Internal:

A lower band may be offer to a candidate with less experience. The desired location for this candidate is either in Shanghai or Beijing, China.

Essential Responsibilities - Internal:

  • Responsible for closure of contractual and complex multi-faceted deals in the China region
  • Seamless interface with the customers, Energy Services Sales, Commercial Operations, Risk, OTR (order to remittance) and Finance team, engaging resources as necessary
  • Owner of the deal negotiations process and identification of key deals / negotiation support for the region
  • Initiation and development of new deal pipeline by creatively enhance value-add benefits and deal/contract structures to both GE and customers
  • Collaborate with teams across the Energy business to enhance sale of New Units through integrated project economics tool and evaluating the various ES offerings to enhance to GE  s winning proposition.
  • Ensure that internal processes (Policy 5.0) are properly adhered to and handover of deals to OTR
  • Own key financial metrics (Commitment, Sales, Price & CM)

Qualifications/Requirements - Internal:

  • Engineering degree
  • Minimum 3+years of commercial/sales/technical negotiation experience in power plant equipment offerings and/ or services offerings.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, ability to liaise with colleagues and customers at all levels

Desired Characteristics - Internal:

  • 2+ yrs of experience in a gas turbine, steam turbine, generator, or balance-of-plant specific role
  • In-depth knowledge and experience negotiating from GE Energy and/or ES standard contracts (i.e. Form 33C, ES104, and/or PUP7)
  • Intimate knowledge of GE Energy Commercial Operations operating procedures and expectations.
    Greenbelt certification desired
  • Demonstrated clear thinking with effective communication at all levels
  • Strong influencing skills and works well with others
