LED Regional Sales Leader - Signage & Specialty(3388)

Company Background:
Our client is a well-known MNC company in various technology and services industries.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for LED signage and Specialty (Traffic & Display) business growth in responsible territories.
  • Achieve the growth through supporting Regional, Vertical, Project and other sales functions technically
  • Initiate new product commercialization by conducting LED training and seminars to Sign Distributors, Sign OEMs, Sign designers, Lighting designers, specifiers, project owners, sales and application engineers.  Must create the commercialization materials including dollarization, payback and benefit for customers
  • Lead the application support and manage the projects in the territories.
  • Work with global team to support the global customer' specifications, pricing and distribution
  • Create and implement marketing and sales strategies and commercialization materials to capture large project pipe line
  • Lead projects and drive it to successful closure; including coordinating Technical Developments & Application Support, Spec-ing in IT LED to the original lighting design, creating a quote, bid packages, BOM, installation guide and following up the progress & project detail across boundaries.
  • Research into potential key market sectors/projects on new design possibilities and turn it into new business opportunities.
  • Build close working relationship with strategic global clients and business alliances
  • Communicate product needs and competitive offering to the IT product management groups

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Preferred)
  • More than 3 - 5 years experience in selling, supporting or managing LED related products, application or lighting engineering products/services in different vertical market sectors.
  • Proven ability to sell complete solutions, not only products
  • Proven experience in the interface with design institutes, lighting specifiers or city construction dept and firms.
  • Proven project management experience in managing a group of sales team in big projects execution in multiple counties in Asia.
  • Excellent sales and leadership ability, preferably developed through formal training
  • Able to write / read / summarize the technical documentations, technical requirements, bill of materials and project bidding documents
  • In-depth knowledge of large project sales in Asia market
  • Good command of English and one major Asian language
  • Good business acumen, the ability to drive change and a strong team player
  • Fluent in English, engineering terminology is required
  • High energy team player with good leadership skills
  • Self-starter, passionate and strong will to drive for the challenging growth
