Company Background:
Our client is a well-known MNC company in various technology and services industries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain and lead IT's LED PR and promotional efforts within key China LED and Lighting associations and technical committees 
• Advocate IT at the various standards committees and government agencies to keep a track of the China LED criteria and requirement and support to shape the standards to IT's advantage
• Work with IT Global/China Standards team, Product and Technology team to coordinate IT's activity to be the most effective and influential
• Build good relationship with all related government bodies, institutes and industry organizations to make sure our product specifications comply with the China standards and regulations
• Represent IT at various seminars and trainings

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master Degree in Engineering or Science, preferably in the area of applied optics, and/or solid state/conventional lighting
• More than 10 years experience in lighting/Solid State Lighting industry, either in the technical/marketing/business development role
• Proven experience in the interface with government and lighting/LED trade associations
• Proven business development experience in developing a new business model or new technology in China
• Excellent leadership ability, preferably developed through formal training
• Good business acumen, the ability to drive change and a strong team player
• High energy team player with good leadership skills
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, engineering terminology is required
