Qualifications: You should possess an M.B.A. with more than six years of related experience, or a Bachelor of Arts degree with more than eight years of related experience. CPA (or international equivalent), CIA, CISA and/or CFE is preferred.
Additional qualifications include:
- Ability to frequently travel (up to 70%) throughout the Asia Pacific Region to countries including, but not limited to: India, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, Japan, Taiwan, and Korea; as well as occasional travels to the U.S. and Europe
- Language skills require fluency in English and Chinese
- Excellent communication, business acumen, influencing, risk management and controls, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency of the fundamental audit competencies
- Ability to build productive teams utilizing differing skill sets and perspectives, prioritizing team objectives and managing scope, managing and reconciling conflicting team member opinions

Responsibilities:
Job Description: Conducts financial and operational audits by examining and verifying accounting, statistical or operational records and/or procedures of internal and/or external organizations to determine the reliability and effectiveness of financial and control systems and reported data concerning the balance sheet and income statement of the firm. Examines records to ensure proper recording of transactions and compliance with applicable laws, agreements, and policies. Prepares reports of findings and recommendations to management. Responds to customer and/or client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.
Additional job responsibilities In this position, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Defining expectations for each audit project including audit objectives, initial planning activities, key contacts, and scope of the project
- Responsible for the team's successful development of risk assessments, design of audit programs, and completion of integrated audits of key business focus areas such as sales and marketing programs, human resources, procurement, manufacturing, inventory, and others
- Reviewing and ensuring comprehensive work papers for planning, risk assessments, and audit testing are completed
- Influencing and negotiating process improvements with business owners
- Providing recommendations on the design of controls into new and existing business processes
- Ensuring that identified control gaps are resolved
- Developing and train department members by sharing key learning and technical skills and providing individual and/or team performance feedback for audit projects
- Developing a role as a Business Unit Lead or an audit or business specialist
- Acting as the customer contact and relationship lead for such focus area(s)
- Obtaining and maintaining a broad and in-depth understanding of the business and its environment, developing the audit plan and Plan of Record (POR), responding to customer requests, coordinating the worldwide approach, attending relevant forums, and consolidating results for presentation to senior management
- Responsible for data mining, risk assessments, audit program design or business areas such as construction, information technology, procurement, manufacturing, and others
- Developing and coordinating risk assessments, audit programs, root cause analysis, and other technical matters, as well as sharing of results and technical knowledge, best practices, obtaining benchmarking and indicator data, and training of other audit department staff.
