Our client is a leading MNC chipmaker in the computing and communications industries.

Responsibility:

Successful candidate will be working on MeeGo project in SSG/SSD/Open Source Technology Center, responsible for validating the complete MeeGo open source stack on Atom based platforms Handheld, Netbook, TV etc, areas including Linux Base OS (Kernel, Drivers), Graphics, Security, Power Management, base libraries and middlewares, such as QT, Web Service, Bluetooth, and Connecton Manager etc. Main responsibility includes test plan writing, test case design, test development, automation, test execution, bug reporting and tracking.

Qualification:

• BS/MS in Computer Science
• Familiar with software validation methodologies, process, and practical experience in Linux based product validation is a plus, e.g. BSP (Board Support Package) testing for linux based device.
• Expert in one or more of these technologies and its Linux implementation, such as Communications (WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3G etc.), Media (e.g. Gstreamer), Graphics, QT (e.g. QGraphics, QT Mobility etc.),
• Strong in C as well as common script language Shell, Python
• Familiarity with Linux tools (revision control tool git, bugzilla...)
• Knowledge and experience in It hardware architecture
• Excellent English communication skills
• Good Team work and self-motivated
