Job Description:

The Low-Power Embedded Processor Division (LEPD) is seeking a Platform Segment Architect (PSA) focused on the In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) segment. In this position, you will work as a senior technical lead in working with customers and the broader IVI segment team in support of Design Win activities for the greater China region. Your overall responsibility will be to drive/support the adoption of Atom-based IVI solutions  in China through Car OEM's, IVI Tier 1's, and IVI-related TP HW and SW suppliers. You will be one of the key technical drivers in defining and implementing a successful segment business plan. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Driving technical design win activities, customer engagements, and resolving customer technical questions
• Researching current and future market segment technical trends
• Developing a deep understanding of customer usage models and applications
• Defining and developing proof of concepts and demos including both HW and SW
• Driving a comprehensive benchmarking plan and understanding competitive technical solutions
• Representing customer technical needs into divisional roadmap product definition
• Developing and presenting technical product materials to customers and for training
• Publishing technical industry articles and collaterals

Qualifications:

You should possess at least a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent). You should possess at least 5 years of industry experience in automotive infotainment or associated field, and have some experience with It Architecture products. Additional qualifications include:

• Fluent in mandarin beneficial
• Knowledge of and experience with developing HW systems
• Experience and a successful track record of engaging with automotive suppliers
• Excellent overall understanding of It Architecture based embedded systems with knowledge of one or more of the following: microprocessor architecture, chipset architectures, system architecture, platform hardware design, platform software design, firmware design.
• Demonstrated ability to listen, understand, and respond professionally to customer questions and / or issues
• Demonstrated ability to develop a comprehensive technical market analysis
• Exhibit strong influencing and customer presentation skills
• Ability to work independently, multi-task effectively, and be successful in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to successfully lead technical initiatives across organizational boundaries
• Experience creating customer ready collaterals, white papers, and training materials
• Experience developing proof of concept systems comprehending system architecture, hardware, and software elements
• International travel will be required
