Role Summary/Purpose The ERP Program Manager will be responsible for and execute Asia Lighting ERP strategy and implementation. This person will also be responsible for partnering and connecting with the business in defining and executing the IT strategy required for emerging market transformation in China.
Essential Responsibilities
ERP Program Leadership:
- Lead the ERP implementation for Lighting Asia as the liaison between the business and Oracle COE team.
- Lead integration of solution with all functional areas - Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Lean Six Sigma and Reporting - to enable world-class end-to-end business solution
Emerging Market Leadership:
- Partner with the business leaders in China to provide End User Solution Selling tools and Digital Customer Connectivity tools
- Partner in doing assessments for new tools/programs
Program Management:
- Lead and coordinate global matrixed project teams, execute plans, and enable business process re-engineering with high impact to business
- Lead analysis, business requirement gathering, design, documentation, and implementation for business processes.
- Manages daily activities, issue resolution and communication across project execution teams in order to deliver project on-time, on-budget
- Identify and analyze project and technical risks & impacts; define alternatives & prioritizations to remove roadblocks
- Follow the CCPM (project management methodology) and the tollgate process.
- Review with Senior IT and business leadership
Business Partnership:
- Work as a business partner with client leaders within each of the business functions
- Develop peer, cross-functional & cross-IT business relationships to maximize best practice sharing & team effectiveness
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering with 5-10 years of experience in supporting business applications and technologies to digitize business processes
- Demonstrated ability to drive implementation of Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) systems
- Proven leadership skill in both business planning and information technology
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP applications, with additional hands-on experience preferred
- Program / Project management experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills; Ability to communicate in Chinese and English
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Capable and influential at project management. Demonstrated commitment to Six Sigma. Green Belt or Black belt certification (IT Internal)
- Preferably experienced in CAP (Change Acceleration Process)
- Experience working in a global environment with team members working remotely located in various time zones
